Date: June 2, 2025
San Jose held Luqueno to an opponent 23.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 60.5 percent accuracy of the winners. San Jose forced 19 Luqueno turnovers and outrebounded them 50-29 including a 41-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. San Jose looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Luqueno 's players. The former international guard Antonio Montiel (188-2005) nailed 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and American power forward Rashad Hassan (203-1989, college: SSU) accounted for 17 points and 8 rebounds. Rodrigo Lopez came up with 8 points and 11 rebounds and Argentinian point guard Santiago Peralta (183-2000) added 12 points and 5 assists respectively for Luqueno in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
