The game without a history. Olimpia K. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made byColonias ' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Olimpia K. made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Rodney Mercado who helped to win the game recording 24 points. American power forward Jeremiah Wood (201-1985) contributed with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Olimpia K. players scored in double figures. Diego Silva answered with 18 points and 4 assists and American forward Samuel Givens (198-1989, college: Drexel) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Colonias. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
