The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-ranked Vaqueros (14-7) in Bayamon on Thursday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Indios (10-12) 84-73. American forward DJ Hogg (203-1996, college: Texas A&M) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 7 rebounds. International forward Jordan Cintron (203-1998, college: Niagara) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Five Indios players scored in double figures. American forward Braxton Key (203-1997, college: Virginia) replied with 22 points and 4 assists and the former international center Ismael Romero (205-1991) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Vaqueros. Vaqueros' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Indios maintains fourth position with 10-12 record. Defending champion Vaqueros still keep top place with seven games lost. Indios are looking forward to face league's second-placed Atleticos in San German in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Vaqueros will play at home against Grises and are hoping to win this game.
