Regular Season Round 15: Moca - Santurce 74-53

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 4th placed Cangrejeras (8-6) were smashed on the road by fifth ranked Moca (8-7) 74-53 on Friday. It was an exceptional evening for international guard Jacqueline Benitez (178-1997, college: JMU) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Alexis Jennings (190-1996, college: S.Carolina) accounted for 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. American center Akela Maize (196-1996, college: NC State) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and international guard Brianna Jones (177-1997, college: Georgetown) added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Cangrejeras in the defeat. Cangrejeras' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion maintains fifth place with 8-7 record. Loser Cangrejeras keep the fourth position with six games lost.
