The game between Top Four teams took place in Santurce. 3rd ranked host Cangrejeras (9-7) were smashed by second ranked Gigantes (11-6) 86-64. Gigantes forced 21 Cangrejeras turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Jill Townsend (180-1998, college: Gonzaga) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Selena Lott (180-1999, college: Marquette) who added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five Gigantes players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Akela Maize (196-1996, college: NC State) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and guard Mikayla Pivec (178-1997, college: Oregon St.) scored 13 points and 7 assists. Gigantes maintains second position with 11-6 record having just two points less than leader Manati. Cangrejeras at the other side dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Moca.
