The most exciting game of round 19 in the BSNF took place in Caguas. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 8th rankedCaguas (5-9) to fifth ranked Gigantes (9-7) 73-72 on Monday evening. Carolina shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. It was a great evening for American-Jordanian guard Aisha Sheppard (175-1998, college: Virginia Tech) who led her team to a victory scoring 26 points. helped adding 12 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side responded with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and American center Kai James (196-1995, college: FSU) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Carolina maintains fifth place with 9-7 record. Caguas lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the eighth position with nine games lost.
