Second Stage Round 4: Hebraica - Remeros 52-31

Very expected game in Montevideo where 6th ranked Remeros (1-6) were crushed by second ranked Hebraica (5-2) 52-31. Hebraica held Remeros to an opponent 21.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 27.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Hebraica forced 35 Remeros turnovers and had a 20-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by forward Jessica Da-Costa (-91) who scored that evening 15 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Daiana Cartro (-98) supported her with 8 points and 12 rebounds. Even 9 points and 8 rebounds by forward Pia Moyano (170-95) did not help to save the game for Remeros. Center Melina Zapata (180-89) added 6 points and 13 rebounds for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hebraica maintains second position with 5-2 record behind leader Aguada. Remeros at the other side keep the sixth place with six games lost.
