The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Aguada as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Aguada smashed 5th ranked Nacional in Montevideo 78-58. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Nacional. Aguada looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists.
