There was a minor upset in Montevideo where 25 de Agosto (1-2) was defeated by Remeros (1-2) 63-58 on Saturday. Remeros made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for Argentinian center Ornela Bacchini (188-1989, college: OLLU) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Pia Moyano (170-1995) helped adding 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Rossana Dagnino (175-1989) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and Sabrina Molina (179-1998) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Remeros will meet D.Sporting in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. 25 de Agosto will play against Aguada and hope to win that game.
