Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Penarol (#4) and Trouville (#3). Penarol (3-1) won against visiting Trouville (2-2) 78-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Trouville. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The winners were led by American power forward Charles Thomas (202-1986, college: Arkansas) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import power forward Lee Roberts (203-1987, college: Findlay, OH) supported him with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Four Penarol players scored in double figures. Even 22 points and 9 rebounds by forward Gianfranco Espindola (196-1999) did not help to save the game for Trouville. American forward Josh Price (205-1996, college: S.Indiana) added 17 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Trouville's coach Marcelo Signorelli rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Penarol moved-up to second place, which they share with Malvin. Trouville at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Penarol's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Aguada.
