Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Trouville (#6) and Malvin (#2). Trouville (3-2) won against visiting Malvin (3-2) 108-103. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Malvin. Trouville players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American forward Josh Price (205-1996, college: S.Indiana) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Gianfranco Espindola (196-1999) contributed with 24 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Anthony Hilliard (195-1986, college: ECSU) answered with 27 points and the other American import guard Rohndell Goodwin (195-1991, college: Chaminade, agency: Players Group) added 22 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Malvin. Five Trouville and four Malvin players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Trouville moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Malvin. Trouville's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Urunday.
