Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Charles Thomas (202-1986, college: Arkansas) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import guard Rodney Green (197-1988, college: La Salle) who added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was American Daniel Hamilton (201-1995, college: UConn) with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists and naturalized German Kiril Wachsmann (203-1984, college: Iona) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds. Four Penarol and five Malvin players scored in double figures. Penarol have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place.
