No shocking result in a game in Montevideo where first ranked Urunday (7-1) defeated 14th ranked 25 de Agosto (2-6) 91-76 on Friday. They outrebounded 25 de Agosto 41-27 including a 34-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American Zach Naylor (203-1998, college: Tarleton St.) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 8 rebounds and guard Diego Garcia (186-1992) who added 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) during the contest. Five Urunday players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American Tirrell Brown (198-1993, college: OBU) with 22 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Dennis McKinney (194-1998, college: Mt.Mercy, agency: GoEmpire Group) scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Urunday have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. 25 de Agosto lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth place with six games lost.
