We should mention about the upset which took place in Montevideo, where 6th rankedTrouville (3-4) was outleveled in a road game by ninth ranked Penarol (3-2) 88-52 on Wednesday. Penarol had a 35-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Trouville 's players. It was a great evening for naturalized Italian guard Jayson Granger (191-1989) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 6 rebounds and 14 assists. Forward Emiliano Serres (204-1997, agency: Pro Sports) helped adding 13 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Granger is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Penarol players scored in double figures. At the losing side American power forward Kwame Alexander (201-1990, college: CSUSB, agency: BIG) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and center Martin Tessadri (200) scored 4 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Penarol moved-up to fifth place. Loser Trouville dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Cordon and Bigua.
