A very close game took place in Montevideo betweenU.Atletica and O.Mundial . Seventh ranked U.Atletica (4-2) got a very close victory on the road over 13th ranked O.Mundial (1-4). U.Atletica managed to escape with a 2-point win 68-66 on Tuesday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. U.Atletica made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American-Nigerian Okanu Kingsley (202, college: GVSU, agency: Helping Ballers) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Santiago Wohlwend (172-1997) helped adding 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four U.Atletica players scored in double figures. At the losing side Facundo Medina (190-1994) responded with 19 points and 5 assists and forward Agustin Gentile (193-2003) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. U.Atletica moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Colon. Loser O.Mundial dropped to the fourteenth position with four games lost.
