Bottom-rankedSayago managed to get a second victory, breaking the two-game losing streak on Friday night. This time they won against eleventh-ranked Lagomar in Montevideo 65-61 . The winners were led by forward Tomas de Leon (195-1999) who scored that evening 16 points and Brazilian power forward Joao Demetrio (208-1995) supported him with 10 points and 9 rebounds. Even 14 points and 8 rebounds by Cape Verdean Victor Andrade (202-2000) did not help to save the game for Lagomar . Forward Federico Haller (200-1988) added 15 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lagomar's coach Alejandro Muro tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Sayago (2-6) moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with L.Borges. Loser Lagomar dropped to the twelfth position with five games lost.
