Finals Game 7: Nacional - Aguada 79-77

Nacional celebrated LUB title. They held off Aguada in the decisive seventh game of the championship series. It was a great evening for American guard Michael Smith (193-1995, college: CBU) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 7 rebounds. He was named the MVP. Brazilian Joao Cardoso (200-2000) helped adding 14 points and 12 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). At the losing side American forward Jamil Wilson (201-1990, college: Marquette) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds and guard Santiago Vidal (180-1989) scored 15 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
