Another interesting game was again a derby match of two local teams from Montevideo:D.Sporting (#1) and Yale (#2). D.Sporting (7-1) won against visiting Yale (6-2) 72-68 . It was a key game for the top position in the league. D.Sporting forced 19 Yale turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of center Josefina Rivera (177-1998) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and Argentinian Camila Suarez (178-2000) who added 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Argentinian point guard Julieta Sienra (161-2003) responded with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Argentinian Agustina Bazan (174-2003) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. D.Sporting have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 7-1 record. Loser Yale dropped to the third place with two games lost.
