Bottom-rankedCordon is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their 12th consecutive match to seventh ranked Urunday (6-7) 96-36 on Friday evening. Urunday dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Cordon 's 22. Urunday forced 39 Cordon turnovers and outrebounded them 50-34 including 19 on the offensive glass. Urunday looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by Cordon 's players. Argentinian guard Melina Marcial (168-1998) notched a double-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and center Abril Mieres (170-2000) supported her with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Even 8 points and 5 rebounds by forward Milagros Rivero (-2003) did not help to save the game for Cordon . Cecilia Pedetti added 4 points and 8 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Urunday moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Aguada. Newly promoted Cordon still closes the standings with 12 games lost.
