Very predictable result when second rankedNacional (9-3) rolled over 11th ranked Cordon (2-10) in Montevideo 109-90 on Wednesday. Nacional outrebounded Cordon 46-29 including a 34-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nacional looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winners were led by American forward Connor Zinaich (201-1997, college: Nova SE) who scored that evening 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and American-Dominican center James Feldeine (193-1988, college: Quinnipiac) supported him with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Nacional players scored in double figures. Even 27 points and 4 assists by American guard Admon Gilder (193-1995, college: Gonzaga) did not help to save the game for Cordon . Cape Verdean Victor Andrade (202-2000) added 13 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Defending champion maintains second position with 9-3 record behind leader Penarol, which they share with Malvin. Cordon lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with ten games lost.
