The biggest surprise of round 11 was guestNacional 's (#2) road victory over Aguada (#3) 98-94 on Saturday evening. Nacional looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American-Dominican center James Feldeine (193-1988, college: Quinnipiac) who scored 29 points and 6 assists. Panamanian power forward Ernesto Oglivie (203-1989) chipped in 19 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. point guard Juan Santiso (185-1994) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 assists and American Earl Clark (208-1988, college: Louisville) added 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Aguada's coach German Cortizas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion maintains second place with 21-10 record having just eight point less than leader Penarol. Aguada lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with 11 games lost. Nacional's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Defensor.
