Nacional outrebounded Bigua 39-27 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Connor Zinaich (201-1997, college: Nova SE) stepped up and scored 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Panamanian power forward Ernesto Oglivie (203-1989) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). At the losing side Dominican Jhery Matos (196-1996, college: Charlotte) responded with 15 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and American point guard Deshone Hicks (178-1999, college: Ferrum) scored 20 points. Four Nacional and five Bigua players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
