The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo:Yale (#5) and Cordon (#8). Cordon was defeated at home 58-67 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Yale forced 24 Cordon turnovers. Argentinian power forward Giselle Botta (180-1999) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Argentinian guard Paola Alegre (162-2001) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Argentinian center Martina Schunk (181-2005) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 18 rebounds and Argentinian point guard Virginia Peralta (172-2006, agency: BIG) scored 18 points. Cordon's coach Matias Bueno rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Yale (3-2) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Tabare. Cordon at the other side keeps the eighth position with five games lost.
