There was no surprise in Montevideo where 5th rankedYale (3-3) was crushed by third ranked Aguada (5-2) 93-63 on Wednesday. Aguada forced 22 Yale turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Yale 's players. It was a great evening for Fiorella Bertinat (179-2010) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds. Argentinian forward Luzmila Varzi (171-2005) helped adding 18 points and 9 rebounds. Four Aguada players scored in double figures. Aguada's coach Gino Alderete felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side guard Luana Lizzazoain (170-2008) responded with 23 points and 5 rebounds and forward Martina Marino (170-2005) scored 13 points. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Aguada . They maintain third place with 5-2 record behind leader D.Sporting. Loser Yale dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Lagomar and Tabare.
