Nacional dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Aguada 's 28. They outrebounded Aguada 47-23 including a 30-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Connor Zinaich (201-1997, college: Nova SE) had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Italian point guard Luciano Parodi (182-1994) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists during the contest. Five Nacional players scored in double figures. American Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with 18 points and his fellow American import swingman Jordan Williams (196-1992, college: N.Texas) scored 15 points. Aguada's coach German Cortizas rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
