Semi-Finals Game 3: Penarol - Defensor 93-81

Penarol made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Penarol outrebounded Defensor 36-23 including 25 on the defensive glass. Penarol players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was an exceptional evening for forward Martin Rojas (195-1998) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Emiliano Serres (204-1997) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Five Penarol players scored in double figures. Guard Facundo Terra (187-1998) came up with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and center Theo Metzger (200-1999) added 16 points and 5 assists respectively for Defensor in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
