Rather predictable result in Caracas where second ranked Cocodrilos (6-1) defeated 6th ranked Bucaneros (2-5) 83-67 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Gregory Vargas (182-86, agency: Pro Sports) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 7 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and forward Kelvin Caraballo (198-88) who added 15 points during the contest. Four Cocodrilos players scored in double figures. Point guard Emiro Hernandez (188-94) responded with 15 points and the former international forward Eduardo Torres (194-81) scored 11 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Cocodrilos have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Trotamundos and Spartans. Bucaneros lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with five games lost.
