No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Broncos (2-1) beat 10th ranked Centauros (1-3) in Margarita 87-83. International point guard Garly Sojo (196-99) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. The former international forward Junior Martinez (200-92) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. The former international swingman Jorge Rondon (193-90) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and Luis Germany (195-95) added 18 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Broncos moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Cocodrilos and Spartans. Centauros lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Broncos' next round opponent will be higher ranked Guaiqueries (#3) in Porlamar and it may be the game of the week. Centauros will play at home against Gladiadores (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
