Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Caracas: Gladiadores (#2) and Broncos (#3). Gladiadores (7-2) won against visiting Broncos (4-6) 66-62. Gladiadores had a 32-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for the former international forward Jhon Romero (199-85) who led his team to a victory with 8 points and 8 rebounds. American-Mexican forward Tony Mitchell (203-92, college: N.Texas) contributed with 8 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Morris Sierralta (190-87) replied with 13 points and swingman Danny Arias (193-97) added 7 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Broncos. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Gladiadores maintains second position with 7-2 record behind leader Spartans. Broncos at the other side keep the third place with six games lost. They share the position with Trotamundos and Diablos.
