Very expected game in Caracas where 8th ranked Marinos (5-14) were defeated by first ranked Gladiadores (20-2) 81-74 on Monday. Gladiadores outrebounded Marinos 52-39 including a 37-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American Jordan Adams (196-1994, college: UCLA) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and international point guard Gregory Vargas (181-1986, agency: Pro Sports) who added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side Dominican point guard Adris De Leon (180-1984, college: EWU) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and Dominican Yeison Colome (190-1996) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gladiadores have an impressive 11-game winning streak.
