Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Cubans who are currently playing abroad.

Karel Guzman
Karel Guzman
#1. This week's number one is an international shooting guard Karel Guzman (188-95, currently plays in Argentina). He contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Argentino (3-12) crushing them 98-75 in the Argentinian La Liga in Thursday night's game. Guzman scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 17 minutes on the court. Olimpico de La Banda (7-7) is placed 13th in the La Liga. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Guzman's first season with the team. This year he averages: 8.4ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.2apg, 3FGP: 34.4% and FT: 61.1% in 13 games he played so far. Guzman is currently a member of the Cuban senior national team.

#5. International center Javier Justiz (205-92, also represented by Pro Sports, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help Zaragoza in their game against Joventut (11-8) in the Spanish Liga Endesa. He cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. Justiz scored only 2 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Zaragoza was defeated 88-73 in Badalona by the higher-ranked Joventut (#7). Justiz's total stats this season are: 5.8ppg and 3.7rpg. He plays currently for the Cuban national team.

It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Garcia has reliable stats this season: 12.0ppg, 4.6rpg, 5.3apg and 3.6spg. He used to play for the Cuban national team back in 2009.

The list of other players, who all have Cuban passport but never been selected to any of Cuban national teams:

#1. Adrian Diaz (209-F/C-93, college: FIU, currently plays in FIBA Europe Cup) was the major contributor in a Joensuun Kataja's victory against the fourth-ranked Leiden (2-4) 92-80 in the FIBA Europe Cup on Wednesday night. Diaz had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 3 blocks in 27 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Diaz's third season in pro basketball. Joensuun Kataja Basket (2-4) is placed second in group L. The Second Stage already ended in the FIBA Europe Cup. This year Diaz's overall stats are: 9.8ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.8apg and 1.5bpg in four games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Cuban and American. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball. Strangely Diaz has never played in Cuba.

He scored 15 points in 30 minutes; not bad, considering it's only Barrueta's third season in pro basketball. Sluc Nancy Basket Pro (13-5) is placed second in the ProB. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. Barrueta has relatively good stats this year: 11.1ppg and 3.9rpg in 17 games. He is another player who holds two passports: Cuban and American. Strangely Barrueta has never played in Cuba.
