Regular Season Round 2: Puente Alto - Puerto Montt 75-71

Very expected game when Puerto Montt lost on the road to Puente Alto 75-71 on Sunday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Argentinian forward Martin Chervo (200-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points and 8 rebounds. The former international guard Erik Carrasco (181-83) contributed with 14 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Puente Alto players scored in double figures. American center Roquez Johnson (201-92, college: MSU, agency: BIG) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and the former international point guard Tomas Alvarez (185-89) added 17 points in the effort for Puerto Montt. Puerto Montt's coach Gabriel Schamberger rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Puente Alto is looking forward to face Universidad Catolica in Santiago in the next round where they are favorite. Puerto Montt will play at home against Espanol de Talca and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
