ABBA Round 3: Stingerz keep a leadership position

There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in ABBA. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Stingerz defeated Ottos at home 80-66. Stingerz dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Ottos' 40. Stingerz forced 28 Ottos turnovers and outrebounded them 61-41 including 26 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. It was a great evening for forward Keroi Lee who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists. Donte Trimingham helped adding 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Warren Bogle with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Ottos' coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ottos will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Stingerz will try to continue on its current victory against Flyers at home.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Cutie Ovals (4-1) at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Stingerz (4-0) 69-62. It was an exceptional evening for Jayden Andrew who led the winners and scored 25 points and 9 rebounds. Keroi Lee accounted for 5 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals. American guard Joshua Minner (198-1990, college: MACU) came up with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 15 rebounds for Cutie Ovals in the defeat. Stingerz will play against Flyers (#4) in the next round. Cutie Ovals will play against Slam and hope to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in between Potters S. and Flyers. Potters S. (4-1) got a very close victory on the road over Flyers (3-1). Potters S. managed to escape with a 1-point win 67-66 on Thursday evening. The best player for the winners was Cohen Desouza who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. Potters S.'s coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Adonis Humphreys who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points, 23 rebounds and 5 blocks. Potters S. will meet Baldwin Braves (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Flyers will play against Stingerz and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 3: Slam were destroyed by Potters S. on the opponent's court 77-56. Winless Baldwin Braves unfortunately lost to Ottos in a home game 69-77. Flyers rolled over Spanish Heat on the road 97-69. Ottos defeated Spanish Heat on its own court 81-71. Winless Spanish Heat was beaten by Slam in a road game 73-61.
