Quimsa celebrated the LigaA title. They overcame GECR Indalo on the road to win the title series 4-2. The victory marked the first success for Quimsa in LigaA campaigns. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 16-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American center Robert Battle (205-81, college: Drexel, agency: DTMones) who scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. International forward Gabriel Deck (199-95) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Federico Aguerre (203-88) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds and American center Sam Clancy (202-80, college: USC, agency: DTMones) added 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Quimsa clinched the Super 8 trophy. They overcame Obras Sanitarias in the title game in Santiago del Estero. Nicolas Aguirre (188-G-88) stepped up with 20 points to pace the winners.
Quimsa got to a perfect start. They unleashed 29 points in the opening quarter to gain a 10-point lead. Quimsa boosted the gap in the second quarter. They ensured a 53:38 halftime lead. Quimsa kept Obras at bay throughout the third quarter. They entered the final period up by 16 points. Obras narrowed the distance in the fourth frame but could not avoid the defeat. Robert Battle (205-C-81, college: Drexel) had 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Diego Garcia (190-SG-79) added 18 points for the winners.
