    San Lorenzo earned the second straight La Liga title. They edged Instituto in the decisive seventh game of the Finals to defend the trophy. The hosts trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 8 points. American-Jordanian Dar Tucker (193-88, college: DePaul) fired 25 points for the winners. American center Jerome Meyinsse (207-88, college: Virginia) chipped in 15 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). San Lorenzo's coach Gonzalo Garcia used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American swingman Rodney Green (196-88, college: La Salle) produced 16 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Gaston Whelan (188-94) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Four Instituto players scored in double figures.
