    Liga Nacional cancels reminder of the season - Jun 18, 2020


    Liga Nacional will not finish 19/20 season. The AdC and CABB committee has decided to cancel the reminder of 19/20 season because of the deteriorating epidemiological situation in the country. Firstly Liga Nacional opted to finish the season in playoff format. The top eight teams should have resumed the championship from the quarterfinal stage. However following the hearings with the Minister of Tourisms and Sports the committee chose to go other direction and cancelled the season. Liga Nacional will have neither champion nor relegation in 19/20 season.

    San Lorenzo clinch Super 20 title beating Quimsa 92:91 in the Final game. San Lorenzo started the thriller with a 24-23 run and added added a 23-18 rally in the second frame. Both sides nailed 30 points in the third period, while Quimsa replied with a 20-15 run that could only helped them to reduce the gap to the minimum. Dar Tucker (193-SG-88, college: DePaul) top-scored for the winners with 16 points and Facundo Pinero (202-F-88) notched 14. Jose Vildoza (191-PG-96, agency: Interperformances) scored 13, whilst Luciano Gonzalez (191-G/F-90) brought 12. Brandon Robinson (198-SG-89, college: Clayton St.) replied with 25 points in the losing effort and Juan Brussino (185-PG-91) netted 14.

    Salta Basket clinch Liga Argentina SuperCup title - Sep 21, 2019


    Salta Basket - Platense 83:77

    Salta Basket clinched Liga Argentina SuperCup title. They beat Platense for the trophy. Mateo Bolivar (187-SG-92) came up with 15 points to pace the winners.
    Salta Basket earned a narrow 26:25 lead after ten minutes. Platense erased the deficit in the second frame to even things up at 48 at the big break. Salta Basket however restored the advantage in the third quarter. They went on a 22:12 rally to open a double-digit advantage. Salta withheld a comeback effort from Platense in the fourth term and raced to the win. Tyrone O'Garro (198-F-94, college: Fair Dickinson) produced 14 points in the victory. Alejandro Diez (201-PF-87) answered with 18 points for Platense.
