San Lorenzo celebrated La Liga title. They beat Quimsa in the decisive fifth game of the championship series to conquer the trophy. The victory marked the fifth La Liga success for San Lorenzo. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 24-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. San Lorenzo made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Quimsa helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International Maximo Fjellerup (196-97) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and the former international point guard Nicolas Aguirre (189-88) chipped in 18 points. Four San Lorenzo players scored in double figures. San Lorenzo's coach Silvio Santander used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American Brandon Robinson (196-89, college: Clayton St.) responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds and Cuban center Ismael Romero (203-91, agency: Paris Global Sports) scored 15 points.

Quimsa clinched Super 20 Liga Nacional de Basquet title beating San Martin Corrientes 72-66. Trailing in the first two quarters 6 points, Quimsa could not match the opponents in the third quarter as well. San Martin Corrientes dominated the third period as well and led 12 points with 10 minutes to go. Quimsa however replied with a massive 26-8 surge to seal the victory.
