Tenth-ranked Obera (9-23) gave a tough game to third ranked Regatas Corrientes (22-9) on Tuesday. The visitors from Corrientes managed to secure only two-point victory 68-66. However their fans expected much easier game. Regatas Corrientes made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Strangely Obera outrebounded Regatas Corrientes 38-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Tayavek Gallizzi (206-93) who scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. International swingman Martin Fernandez (195-97) chipped in 16 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Anthony Young (200-89, college: KWC) who recorded 17 points and 5 rebounds and guard Christian Schoppler (185-86) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Regatas Corrientes moved-up to second place, which they share with San Martin. Newly promoted Obera keeps the tenth position with 23 games lost.
