Regular Season Round 45: Obras - Instituto 81-78

Fourth-ranked Instituto (16-7) gave a tough game to second ranked Obras (20-9) in Buenos Aires. Obras managed to secure only three-point victory 81-78. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Instituto. International point guard Fernando Zurbriggen (185-97, agency: Duran International) nailed 18 points for the winning side and international power forward Lautaro Berra (208-98) accounted for 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Obras players scored in double figures. International Martin Cuello (193-93) came up with 19 points and 8 assists and Venezuelan Nestor Colmenares (203-87, college: Campbellsville, agency: Pro Sports) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Instituto in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Obras maintains second place with 20-9 record having just two points less than leader San Lorenzo. Instituto at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost.
