We should mention about the upset which took place in Obera, where 7th ranked La Union (12-20) lost to tenth ranked Obera (8-21) in a road game 79-89. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Anthony Young (200-89, college: KWC) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Guard Enzo Ruiz (194-88) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Obera's coach Leandro Hiriart allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Eduardo Gamboa (189-84) answered with 14 points and 4 assists and international power forward Gonzalo Torres (201-94) added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for La Union. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted Obera maintains tenth place with 8-21 record. La Union at the other side keeps the seventh position with 20 games lost.
