The game in Rio Gallegos supposed to be also quite interesting. Seventh ranked Argentino (7-9) played at the court of 8th ranked H.Americano (6-11). Argentino smashed H.Americano 102-72 on Thursday. Argentino made 20-of-21 free shots (95.2 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Spanish center Antoni Vicens (204-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 18 rebounds and naturalized American Johnatan Slider (192-87) who added 26 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Argentino players scored in double figures. At the losing side Bruno Sansimoni (194-96) responded with 20 points and American forward Mogga Lado (202-95, college: Campbell) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. H.Americano's coach Gabriel Piccato gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Argentino moved-up to fifth place. H.Americano at the other side keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. Argentino will meet at home Bahia (#10) in the next round where they are favorite. H.Americano will play against CA Platense and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
