There was no surprise in Bahia Blanca where 10th ranked Bahia (2-16) was defeated by eighth ranked CA Platense (7-10) 81-73. CA Platense made 18-of-20 charity shots (90.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 Bahia turnovers. It was a very good performance for swingman Lucas Goldenberg (190-90) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Matias Bernardini (190-94) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international Fausto Ruesga (199-0) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and Federico Elias (185-99) added 15 points and 6 assists in the effort for Bahia. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bahia's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. CA Platense moved-up to sixth place.
