There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Comunicaciones (7-18) beat 7th ranked La Union (7-15) in Formosa 68-64. The best player for the winners was forward Mariano Fierro (200-86) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds. Swingman Jose Montero (193-95) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Cristian Amicucci (200-85) who recorded 15 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and point guard Alejandro Konsztadt (191-89) added 11 points and 8 assists respectively.
