Boca Juniors are La Liga champions. They overcame Instituto in Game 6 of the championship series to lift the trophy. 28 personal fouls committed by Instituto helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international Sebastian Vega (200-1988) scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Leonel Schattmann (193-1987) chipped in 15 points during the contest. Ciclista Olimpico de La Banda claimed Torneo Interligas title. They edged Caxias do Sul in the Final. Devon Collier (203-PF-1991, college: Oregon St.) stepped up with 20 points to lead the Argentinean team.
Olimpico dominated throughout the first half. They registered a 23-16 lead after ten minutes. The Argentinean team boosted the gap at 11-point mark at halftime 44-33. But Caxias went on a strong third period rally to pull ahead 61-60 heading into the fourth frame. Olimpico bounced back with a strong final period run to snatch the win at the end. Juan Arengo (185-G-1996) tossed in 17 points, while Nicolas Romano (200-G) added 10 points for Olimpico. Wesley Alves (198-SF-1996) answered with 21 points for Caxias do Sul. Wesley Sena (210-C-1996) tossed in 18 points in the loss.
