Estudiantes de Concordia celebrated the TNA title. They snatched a thrilling road win over San Martin in the decisive fifth game of the title series. Estudiantes de Concordia thus guaranteed LigaA promotion for the next season. Eduardo Gamboa (189-G-84) exploded with 26 points to pace the visitors. The visitors jumped to a 20:17 lead ten minutes into the game. San Martin reacted with more aggressive approach in the next period. The hosts erased the deficit and snatched a 38:36 halftime lead. The teams stayed neck and neck throughout the third quarter. San Martin and Estudiantes arrived at the final break tied at 60. Carnovale put San Martin up by three 74:71 late in regulation. However Gomboa answered with five straight points for Estudiantes to give the visitors the lead. Estudiantes held on to the advantage and claimed a historic victory at the end. Lee Roberts (201-F/C-87, college: Findlay, OH) delivered 16 points, while Sebastian Orresta (188-G-93) contributed 10 points for Estudiantes. Ivan Basualdo (200-F/C-90) and Patricio Rodriguez (193-F-84) responded with 16 points each for San Martin.
