Universidad Catolica de Murcia CB signed 26-year old Argentinian international point guard Juani Marcos for the upcoming 2026-27 season. He will stay in Spain where he was the best passer at Barca. In 41 games, he had 4.3ppg, 1.4rpg, and 1.7apg, helping them reach the Spanish League final and Cup semifinals. Marcos also played 31 games in Euroleague, recording just 2.0ppg and 1.3apg. For the two previous seasons (2023-25), he played at another Spanish team, Basquet Girona.
He has also been a member of the Argentinian international program for some years. Marcos has regularly played for the Argentinian senior team since 2018 and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2018.
He has played for teams in Argentina (Penarol and Penarol), Spain (FC Barcelona Lassa 2nd team and Lleida), and Argentina.
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-World Cup U19 Honorable Mention back in 2019.
