Club Atletico Platense Florida (La Liga) signed 29-year old swingman Federico Grun (191cm-1996) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. He will still stay in Argentina where he played last season at Gimnasia. In 40 La Liga games in Argentina, he had 5.0ppg, 2.6rpg, and 1.7apg. He helped them to win the league title despite ending the regular season in second place. The previous (2024-25) season, he played for another Argentinian team, San Martin Corrientes. Grun also played for another Argentinian team, San Lorenzo de Almagro, earlier that season.
He has played previously in Argentina between Ferro, Zarate, Olimpico, Dep Viedma, and Estudiantes Concordia, and in Ecuador during Alvarado.
Among many awards, he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian LDD Honorable Mention back in 2019.
