Gimnasia adds Forestier to their roster

Defending champion Gimnasia y Esgrima Comodoro Rivadavia (La Liga) added 23-year old small forward Valentin Forestier (194cm-2003) to their roster for the 2026-27 season. He is not a newcomer in the Argentinian League as he played last season at Olimpico. In 36 La Liga games in Argentina, he recorded 6.0ppg, 3.5rpg, and 1.6apg. For the three previous seasons (2022-25), he played at another Argentinian team Riachuelo de La Rioja.
He was a member of the Argentinian Under 16 National Team in 2019.
Forestier has played for three other teams before: Bahia, Weber Bahia, and Riachuelo de La Rioja U22 team.
