Federico Copes joins Azulejos

Azulejos Moncayo CB Zaragoza (Segunda FEB) agreed terms with 24-year old Argentinian swingman Federico Copes (199cm-2002) for new 2026-27 season. He is the second foreign player in the roster as USA Japhet Medor signed here earlier.
He will still stay in Spain where he played last season at Alimerka Oviedo Baloncesto in the Primera FEB. In 23 games he had 3.4ppg and 1.9rpg. Segunda FEB will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
The previous (2024-25) season he played at another Spanish team Basquet L'Horta Godella.
He is quite experienced player. He has played also in Argentina (Los Indios, Platense), Argentina, Mexico (NBA Academy Latin Am) and Ecuador (Guerreros Neaume Marco Cepeda).
His team won Spanish EBA Group A-B Regular Season in 2024.
