Centenario de Venado Tuerto (La Liga Argentina) signed 26-year old American forward Messiah Jones (198cm-104kg-1999, college: Towson) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. He was the best rebounder at Team Newcastle University in the British BCB league last season, where in 25 games he had 12.6ppg, 8.8rpg, 2.8apg, and 1.6spg. Despite finishing the regular season in second place, he helped them win the BCB title. In the 2025-26 season, he was voted Eurobasket.com All-British BCB Finals MVP, Forward of the Year, and named to the All-Defensive Team.
Jones graduated from Towson University in 2025 and is entering his second season as a professional player. He also played for other colleges such as Wofford College and Drake University.
